Meta-Information

Graphical representations of the distribution of attribute values over the map are made available to the user in order to facilitate the interpretation of the map. It is possible to illustrate meta-descriptions of various kinds, taken for example from ID3-tags or databases. Some examples can be found below. Since the grid on the meta-information visualizations corresponds to the one on the map, these visualizations can be used to efficiently find regions with certain properties.
